The first ever Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame banquet is drawing some big names to Swift Current. In addition to inductees like Bryan Trottier and Glenn Hall, TSN's Darren Dreger will be here to MC the event.
"My job as host, MC, guest speaker is simply to keep the focus on where it should be and that is this inaugural class. There will be some chit- chatting but we're not going to have a lot of time to do that are we because you do have to recognize and pay close attention to all those who are going to make this night so special." said Dreger
The banquet will also feature a first look at the physical Hall of Fame which could turn into a tourist destination at the Credit Union i-Plex. There are still a limited number of tickets availble for the event and you can contact Mayor Jerrod Schafer for the last minute tickets.
