Delivery Truck Goes Into Creek Near Chinook

For the second time in recent weeks a vehicle ended up in the Swift Current creek.

On Monday morning at 7am Swift Current RCMP were called the scene where a deliver truck had gone into the creek near the Chinook Golf Course.

EMS were already on the scene at the time.

Police believe the cause of the crash was due to the driver suffering from some medical distress.

The are not investigating the incident criminally.

RCMP note the driver was not injured by the crash itself and the truck sustained only minimal damage.

Another vehicle went into the creek on August 9th near the Elmwood Golf and Country Club in an incident that police also attributed to the driver suffering from medical distress.
