The 2019/2020 season for the Swift Current Broncos has seen just 13 games played.

In the under 40 days since the season began, the Broncos hold a record of 3-7-1-2. Swift Current's three wins so far this season, took them a total of 24 games to accomplish last year.

Dean Brockman Head Coach and director of hockey operations for the Broncos said that when they come to play, they can hang with just about any team in the WHL.

"When we play, and we're on, and we get contributions from everybody, then we can be in games, and we have chances to win games," he said. "That's the thing without a team; we need everybody to be that way. We can't just have half the guys."

Brockman said that so far this season, he has seen good growth from several players adjusting to the WHL level.

"Guys are playing different roles and bigger minutes and some of our guys have adjusted to that, and some haven't," he noted. "The sooner we can catch onto it, the better. As long as they are trying to get better, as long as we are working hard and as long as we are consistently doing those things, it's acceptable."

He said that as far as plans for the future, he is just taking one day at a time.

"We are living day by day. We just need to learn how to play the game day by day and work hard every day," Brockman said. "Guys have to develop and get better, and they have to give the fans their money's worth."

The Broncos start another five-game road trip on November 1st as they are in Brandon taking on the Wheat Kings.
