Many communities in the southwest will be holding municipal elections on October 26th.

The Town of Maple Creek is one of those communities.

There are three candidates running for the position of Mayor..they are Barry Rudd, Tine Cresswell and Noy Lim.

There are six town council seats up for grabs..names in the running are Sean Barnard, Barry Elderkin, Joseph Hancock, Ellaine Hawrylak, Michelle McKemzie, Michael Morrow, Kevin Rittenger, and Cara Teichroeb.

Advance Polls in Maple Creek happen October 12th from ten a.m. until two p.m. at th e Southwest Integrated Healthcare Facility-Town Hall Room.

Polls on Election Day will be at the Armoury from nine a.m. until eight p.m.

Returning Officer for the Town of Gull Lake, Dawnette Peterson, has also announced the Advance Polls in that community will happen on October 20th at the Gull Lake Town Office from seven until nine p.m.

Gull Lake has nine candidates running for the six Council seats and Mayor Blake Campbell is back again by acclamation.
