The Grand Exalted Ruler of Elks Canada visited the Swift Current Elks Lodge this week.

     Clark Kilburn says, during his visit to Swift Current, they held a meeting and had a dinner.  A number of members from other local Lodges attended as well, including Shaunavon and Aneroid.

     The Grand Exalted Ruler makes a visit to each lodge every 8 to 10 years.

     The Swift Current Elks are highly involved in the community, donating an average of $10,000 each year to various organizations, including the hospital and the City to allow children under the age of 10 to skate and swim for free.
