With rainy weather to encourage folks through the door, Fall into Christmas enjoyed another successful year in Swift Current.

Since 2005, the annual trade show has brought in folks from not only the city but the surrounding communities in Southwest Saskatchewan. During the three days, it occupies the Stockade building, vendors offer a huge variety of options, such as fudge, professional portraits and photography, hand-crafted knit goods, and so much more.

Running the show this year, and every year, was Cyndi Tasche, the organizer and manager of Fall into Christmas. She was happy to see so many smiling faces finding buys to take home, many of which will become this year's Christmas presents.

"It's a great thing to go to," said Tasche. "It is handcrafted, so there are specialty items. They are often unique, and one of a kind, so they do make very good gifts."

The crowd never waivered throughout the majority of the event. The crowd never waivered throughout the majority of the event.

This year, thousands of people came through the doors. They were able to browse the wares of 128 different vendors, each of which was registered for the show by April 1 at the latest.

"Like other years, we pretty much filled the booths by the middle of April," said Tasche. "It's always been very busy, and it does feel properly arranged."

This year, Fall into Christmas was partnering with the Kinettes Club of Swift Current, who were doing a raffle for the Telemiracle Foundation. Folks who registered to participate in this year's show were asked to contribute a gift to be raffled off, with the tickets purchased for that raffle providing the proceeds for the Kinettes.

"[The vendors] are always very generous," praised Tasche. "It's very pleasant to see how generous they are when they come to town."
