Although summer day camps for kids are permitted to open during phase four of the Reopen Saskatchewan Plan, the fate of overnight camps is still unknown.

While some overnight camps have already written the summer off due to the current pandemic, others are playing the waiting game

.In an email statement to Swift Current Online Executive Director of Westbank Bible Camp, Jeffrey Penner says as the phases are opening up and allowing some different options and fewer restrictions they are exploring what that means for them and how viable those options are.

In addition, Penner adds that as the government policies are changing all the time they are taking this one week at a time and trying to come up with the best option so that they can serve the community and make sure they can make it to next year.

Those who are missing West Bank Bible camp this summer can catch them online as they are releasing videos on their Facebook and Youtube every Tuesday for the rest of this month.
