Make it four wins in a row for the Full Line Ag Female Midget AA Wildcats, as they earned their second-straight weekend sweep.

Swift Current was home to the Western Prairie Aces on Saturday at Fairview West. The Female Midget AA Wildcats out-shot the Aces 51-16, as they went on to win 4-1.

Goals came from Rio Runcie, Morgan Bailey, Teagan Paul, and Abbie Noble, while Annika Kirk made 15 saves in net.

Then on Sunday, Swift Current was on the road against the Parkland Fire.

Aurora Van Wormer worked a 25-save shutout as the Female Midget AA Wildcats won 2-0. Bailey, and Taylor Kohls both scored.

Swift Current is now 7-3-1 on the season, and have out-scored opponents 11-4 during their four-game winning streak.

The Female Midget AA Wildcats are second in the South League standings.

They head out on the road again for two games this coming weekend. The Female Midget AA Wildcats are in Nipawin taking on the North East Aces on Saturday, then are down in Warman against the Wildcats on Sunday.


Meanwhile, the Graphic Edge Female Bantam AA Wildcats swapped shutouts with the visiting Warman Wildcats in Swift Current over the weekend.

Saturday night, Warman blanked the Wildcats 5-0 at Fairview East, for Swift Current's first loss of the season.

Then Sunday afternoon over at Fairview West, it was the Bantam AA Wildcats turn. Swift Current used goals from Cydny Price and Olivia Kirwan, and a 19-save shutout from Brooke Archer in a 2-0 win.

The Female Bantam AA Wildcats are 4-1-2 on the year, and are on the road this coming weekend for a two-game set with the last-place South East Gold Wings (1-9-2).
