The Hudson's Bay Company has announced that they will be closing their entire number of Fields store locations across Canada by the Fall of 2012, and that includes the stores in Shaunavon and Maple Creek.

Tiffany Bouree, External Communications Manager for HBC, says the closures are a strategic decision to focus on growing their other businesses, which include Home Outfitters, The Bay, and Lord and Taylor in the U.S.

Bouree adds that both Shaunavon and Maple Creek locations will be closing by May 31st. She says that they provide comphrehensive career transition and support services for their employees and thanks their associates for their dedication and service.
