The fire department invites the public to see the new fire truck.

Last year, council approved the purchase on a new aerial platform. The truck less trade-in cost city taxpayers $823 thousand.

"The Aerial Platform is a multi-purpose apparatus with capabilities of supporting high angle rescue, water tower and pumping option, below grade rescue and surface water/ice rescue, just to name a few," said Deputy Fire Chief, Tracy Tangen.

See the new fire truck first-hand Tueday morning at the Fire Department, 10 until noon. Refreshments will be provided.
