The Fraser Institute report says Saskatchewan should get rid of its Crown Corporations.

In a report on the province's economy, the Institute notes that Saskatchewan's poor economic performance and out-migration over the last 30 years are the result of a lack of investment and opportunity.

The report says the Crowns invest less in equipment and other capital investments than private companies.

Other recommendations from the report include lowering personal and corporate taxes, and removing barriers to interprovincial trade.
