Soup and Such Cafe's 8th annual Charity Christmas Lunch raised over $1900 for Swift Current's Fresh Start program on Tuesday.
Chef Ricardo Morin and his team at the cafe put on the free lunch, asking only for donations to help provide hot meals at the Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.
"All the money that is raised or donated goes directly toward food or the cost of preparing the meals," said Sally Wiens, Executive Director of Fresh Start. "It will go towards providing hot, wholesome and nutritious meals to those in need in our community."
Wiens added that she would like to thank the community for their continued support.
