Former Swift Current Bronco Graham Black has an NHL contract.
The recently-graduated forward signed an entry-level deal with the New Jersey Devils, who picked the Regina product in the 5th round of the 2012 Draft.
Black led the Broncos with 97 points in his final junior season, and was a plus one in two games with the Albany Devils of the AHL this month after signing an Amateur Tryout Agreement with that team following the WHL season.
In the WHL playoffs, Tommy Vanelli and Chad labelle scored for the Medicine Hat Tigers as they edged Edmonton 2-1 to cut the Oil Kings' lead in the Eastern Conference Final to 2-1. Game four is tonight in Medicine Hat.
The Portland Winterhawks beat Kelowna 4-3 to take a 2-1 lead win the west final. Game four is also tonight in Portland.
