Firefighters have put out a grass fire just off the Trans Canada, six kilometers east of Swift Current.
Both the Rural Municipality and City of Swift Current Fire Departments were called to the scene of the grass fire by the overpass over the train tracks before 11am.
Over 10 firefighters participated.
The fire is now out and the area is being mopped up.
