A high-speed chase tore through Swift Current in November, leaving two RCMP cruisers totaled and two PEI residents in custody.

Kendell Marie Hardt of Charlottetown, passenger in the stolen vehicle being pursued, pled guilty on Wednesday to three charges and was sentenced. Her charges include one count possession of a stolen vehicle, one count possession of a stolen license plate, and one breach-related charge.

Hardt was originally facing two counts of assaulting a police officer with a weapon, one count of flight from a police officer, one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and three counts of mischief over $5,000.

Regional Crown Prosecutor, Curtis Wiebe, said while Hardt's sentence is to serve five months in custody, she has credit for the months she has been remanded since her arrest.

Montague, PEI's Brandon Condon-White, who was the driver, is set to appear in court for a Show Cause Hearing on February 15.
