The Garden Head Gun Club is holding their 29th Annual Gun and Hobby Show this weekend in the Tompkins Community Center.

The show runs this Saturday from ten a.m. until five p.m. and on Sunday from ten a.m. until three p.m.

Bruce Martin is the Show Chairman. He says over the past years they have had a great response from the people of the southwest. He says, "It's one of the shows in the area..it's in, I think, the right time of the year. We've just been very very fortunate with it to have the following that we get out of it. The people come and so on. And it's been a real fund raiser for us as a club."

The weekend includes opportunities to buy, sell and trade guns and knives. They are also selling crafts and collectibles, as well as home baking.

There will be Cowboy Action Shooting Demos both days, and new this year is the Tompkins District Target Shooting Club.

The Tompkins Legion has a concession on site both days, and will be serving a pancake breakfast both mornings from eight until ten.
