On Monday, the Cypress Health Region will once again conduct their Adult and Senior Health Fair in the Living Sky Casino banquet room.
Throughout the day, tables and booths will be set up to inform people about a number of health topics, which according to dietitian, Kacie Scherger, is exactly what the Cypress Health Region wants.
"Our main goal is to provide the public with information about a variety of health related topics and to promote healthy lifestyle choices. In order to do that we try to have as many health care professionals and vendors as possible".
Stations will be set up informing the public about hypertension and blood pressure checks, asthma, COPD and better breathing, diabetes and blood glucose monitoring, lower limb assessments, nutrition and many more health topics.
Free refreshments and snacks will also be available at the event, along with giveaways throughout the day.
The Adult and Senior Health Fair will run from 10:00am-3:00pm on Monday.
