The AA Broncos squads came away from a home weekend looking strong, as all three groups would come away with at least one victory.

The U13 South West Terminal squad would take on the Yorkton Terriers on Friday and Saturday at Fairview East and walk away with a win and a tie in two high-scoring affairs.

On Saturday night they'd get started early and often, pouring 40 shots onto Terriers keeper Garrett Sagan. Kadyn Olfert would lead the offence, potting a pair of markers, while Jamie Kirwan, Carter Moen, Dane Irwin and Hunter Wilm would add single goals in the 6-3 win.

Cade Mitchell would get his second start of the season and face 22 shots; giving up three goals in the victory.

Sunday would prove to be a tighter, higher-scoring affair. Swift Current would take a 5-3 lead into the third but a pair of tripping penalties within minutes of each other with five minutes left in regulation would open the door for Yorkton as Jaxson Sedor and Chris Mitschke would pair up on a pair of power-play markers to make it 5-5 and come away with the tie.

Over on the other side of the arena meanwhile, the U15 Pure Chem Broncos were in tough against the Saskatoon Stallions on Saturday. The teams would swap leads in the first as Keldon MacKenzie would put the Stallions up early. It would take until the end of the frame for Swift Current to strike, but Jace England would score his first of the night unassisted with 4 minutes left in the frame to tie it up, while Theron Watteyne would add a second two minutes later to give the Broncos the lead heading into the second.

A back and forth second would end in a 3-3 tie as Saskatoon would answer back each time the Broncos would add an insurance marker. It would be Jace England in the third that would finally win it for the Swift, beating Saskatoon keeper Ava Drabyk unassisted midway through the period. It would be the only score of the period, and the Broncos would hold on for the 4-3 win.

Sunday proved a different story as they would host the outmatched Moose Jaw Warriors in the morning. The Broncos would get scoring from up and down the lineup as they'd pour 30 shots onto the Warriors net in the first period on the way to an 80 shot total night.

The Warriors would be unable to generate any presence on the net, managing only 6 shots on Swift Current's Conner Bender, The final score of 9-0 for the Broncos.

And finally, the U18 Abbey Resource Broncos took home a win and a loss on the weekend as they hosted a pair of squads at Fairview West on the Weekend.

On Friday night the winless Prairie Storm would blow into town looking for a change in fortune. Ben Patenaude would get the Broncos on the board midway through the second as he'd add a power-play marker for his first of the season.

Carson Sabine would add a pair 15 seconds apart late in the third to put the Broncos up 3-0 with five minutes to go.

But Barret Williams would finally beat Cade Doane with 2 and a half minutes left to spoil the shutout bid, leaving the Broncos with the 3-1 victory.

On Sunday meanwhile, the Broncos would fall in a close battle against the visiting Regina Rangers 6-4 despite outshooting the Queen city squad by a wide margin.

Hunter Arntsen would face only 15 shots in the game, but allow 6 for the .600 save percentage while the Rangers would storm out early with 4 goals in the first before the Broncos could respond.

The Broncos' offence would make a strong effort, tying it up at 4 midway through the third, but would be unable to complete the comeback.

The U18 squad is in action tomorrow as they host the Notre Dame Hounds at Fairview West. The U13 boys will be hosting a doubleheader against the Melville Millionaires on Saturday and Sunday at Fairview East, while the U15 squad will have to wait until November 3rd for their next action as they play host to the West Central Wheat Kings at Fairview West.
