The 1st Annual Hockey Day in Saskatchewan was celebrated with tons of minor hockey games.

     The Saskatchewan Midget All-Star game was held yesterday in Saskatoon, and Team North won the classic over Team South, 8-6.  Tyler Longlitz, David Lerner, and Jordan Peddle were the Home Hardware Legionnaires' representatives on Team South.  The Legionnaires return to regular play on Tuesday in Regina.

     The Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats picked up game one of a weekend home stand with a 2-0 win over Melville last night.  Game two of the series is today at 12:45pm, at the Fairview Arenas.

     The Kabos Bantam Raiders dropped a 4-2 decision to Estevan yesterday.  They will take on Melville this afternoon at 3:00 at the Fairview Arenas.

      In Junior B action, the Cypress Cyclones lost to Fort Knox, 2-1 at home last night.  Those two teams square off again at 3:00pm today in Maple Creek.
