Heading into the final round of the 57th Sask Senior Women's championship in Yorkton, home town product Tammy Bezaire sits two strokes ahead of second place.

The Yorkton native shot a 6-over to leap-frog Rosetown's Sue Skinner to claim the lead.

Swift Current's Kathy Hopfner meanwhile struggled in the second round with 5 bogeys and 6 double-bogeys, shooting a disastrous 24-over and dropping to 8th place, 18 strokes behind the leader.

Denise Wilson remained steady in 5th place.

The final round of action gets underway this morning at 8 a.m.
