If you love sports you GOTTA' love this time of year. NFL, CFL, and High School Football. NHL hockey is heating up and the WHL season is underway. Add to that the MLB playoffs just around the corner and it adds up to pure joy for the sports lover.
Locally this weekend the Swift Current Broncos play twice at home. Friday vs. Edmonton and Saturday against Brandon. Both games at 7pm at the Innovation Credit Union I-plex and right here on the Eagle 94.1. Also in hockey action, the Diamond Energy female Wildcats are in Brandon for a tournament. We'll have the results of that for you Monday morning.
In football the Swift Current Comp Colts have the weekend off. They next suit up against Estevan on October 4th. Friday night we have the Riders in Edmonton, and on Sunday, wall to wall NFL football on the small screen.
Oh yeah, the Ryder Club Golf Matches are on this weekend too. Let the games begin!!
