RCMP executed a Criminal Code search warrant on a farm near Mankota recently, which turned up in excess of 60 weapons and ammunition.

     The search was conducted on May 6th by the Ponteix RCMP Detachment, the RCMP Integrated Border Enforcement team, the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, the Canada Border Services Agency, and the Saskatchewan Environment Agency.

     RCMP say about 11 of the weapons seized are prohibited and restricted, and a total of 21 charges have been laid in this matter.  However, no further details have been made available at this time.  More information is expected to be released in the next 24 hours.
