Emergency rooms and clinics have been busy since the start of the swine flu outbreak.

The Cypress Health Region is reminding people that, if you don't have the symptons then there's no need to be tested for the H1N1 flu.

Population Health Director Trent Regier says they want to focus on people whose symptoms are moderate to severe, such as a fever of 39 degrees Celsius or higher, or if the physician feels they need to be in hospital.

Regier says mild flu-like symptoms can be treated with self-isolation at home, drinking plenty of fluids, and getting plenty of rest.  If the symptoms worsen, then medical attention should be sought.
