The Pee Wee 'AA' Indians are hoping to bring a Western Championship to Swift Current

The Swift Current Pee Wee 'AA' Indians are off to a strong start at the 2015 Western Canada Baseball Championships in St. Albert, Alberta.

The Tribe took on, and defeated the Manitoba Champions, the Stonewall Blue Jays.

In dramatic fashion, Swift Current walked off the Blue Jays 9-8.

The Indians will now take their 1-0 record into their 2nd game of the day, which will be played this afternoon against the Colquitlam Moody Reds, who are representing British Columbia.

This afternoon's game will be the final one of the day for Swift Current, as they'll get a chance to rest up, before playing 2 more games tomorrow.

First pitch between Swift Current and Coquitlam is scheduled for 3pm.
