There’s been plenty of hot temperatures, and little relief.

Sunny days and hot temperatures have marked the last few weeks in Saskatchewan.

Environment Canada meteorologist, Dan Kulak, says severe weather can crop up at anytime during the summer, so it’s best to be prepared.

He suggests you have a severe weather plan in place.

Keeping the windows open at night and then shutting them during the day will help combat the heat in your home.

If you’re out and about, wear loose, light colored clothing and drink lots of liquids.

Kulak adds that, with the hot weather, comes the chance of severe weather.

He says to keep an ear on the radio for any warnings that may be issued.

Although we didn’t break any records yesterday with our daytime high at 35, we just may do so today.

The current record for today was 34 degrees set in 1947. Environment Canada calling for today to be around 36 degrees.
