A Winnipeg judge says she will sentence former Broncos Coach Graham James on March 20th.

The convicted sex abuser pleaded guilty two months ago to sexually assaulting former NHL star Theo Fleury and Broncos Hall of Famer Todd Holt.

Holt's name became public for the first time at Wednesday's sentencing hearing.

"It's difficult, I won't lie to you. It's not a life I would choose every time but I'd do it over and over again if it meant I was helping someone" he told reporters following the tearful delivery of his victim impact statement in court.

The defence is asking for a conditional sentence of up to 18 months, while the Crown wants six years in prison.

James apologized to Fleury, Holt, and the hockey community during the hearing but both rejected the act as insincere.

"You get opportunities in the past to apologize to good friends of Sheldon Kennedy and the other players. For him to do it this time, obviously it sounded sincere but I don't think Graham James has sincerity in his system," Holt said. "I don't think he has it in him to apologize".
