In today's update from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting a total of 1,412 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 97,545 reported cases. 

Of the new cases, 27 are located in the Far North West zone, 18 in the Far North East zone, 53 in the North West zone, 62 in the North Central zone, 36 in the North East zone, 334 to the Saskatoon zone, 20 to the Central West zone, 92 to the Central East zone, 334 to the Regina zone, 76 in the South Central zone, and 168 in the South East zone. 

There were 44 new cases in the South West zone, 7 in South West subzone 1, and 37 in South West subzone 2. 

There are 148 new cases with pending residents' information. 

Nine (9) cases were assigned; 3 to the Far North Central zone, 2 to the North West zone, 1 to the North East zone, 1 to the Central East zone, 1 to the Regina zone, and 1 to the South West zone. 

18 SK residents tested out of province were added to case counts; 2 to the North West zone, 1 to the North Central zone, 6 to the Saskatoon zone, and 9 to the Regina zone. 

There are 10,325 cases are considered active and 86,259 cases are considered recovered. 

Over two-fifths (43.2%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39. 

As of today, a total of 131 individuals are hospitalized, including 123 inpatient hospitalizations and 8 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 131 patients, 56 (42.7%) were not fully vaccinated. 

The SHA dashboard reports that of the 123 residents that are inpatient. Of those, 59 inpatient hospitalizations are a COVID-19-related illness, 46 are incidental, asymptomatic infections and 18 have not yet been determined, 8 residents are in ICUs: of those, 5 are for COVID-19-related illnesses, and 3 are for incidental, asymptomatic infections. 

No (0) new death reported today. 961 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.0. 

To date, 1,374,825 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. 

There were 2 676 COVID-19 vaccines administered, 94 of those in the South West zone. 

That brings the provincial total number of vaccinations given to 1 826 474. 

There are now 874 329 Saskatchewan residents who are fully vaccinated. 

The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 1,093 (90.7 new cases per 100,000). 

Since January 1, the New Cases by Vaccination Status table has shown a significant number of new cases as unvaccinated. This data is not accurate. This table is no longer featured on the dashboard until a review of the information is complete and the data rectified.
