One of Saskatchewan's most well-known singer/songwriters, Jeffrey Straker will return to Swift Current for Jeffrey Straker & Friends, featuring fellow Saskatchewan artists Jack Semple and Annette Campagne, for the Swift Current Arts Council Stars for Saskatchewan Series on Friday, November 1.

Straker's show is part of a tour taking him to theatres and halls in communities big and small across Saskatchewan, and he is certainly no stranger to Swift Current having worked with schools in the city over the last few years, including a recent project with local students that will see a new song about bullying unveiled in time for the annual Pink Shirt Day in February.

Mallory Daye caught up with Straker as he was about to embark on the tour:

Jeffrey Straker & Friends will be at the Living Sky Casino Events Centre at 7:30pm on Friday night, and tickets are available online at ticketpro.ca or by phone at 1-888-655-9090.
