The number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the province has climbed over the century mark, as reported by the Sask Health Authority in their daily update on Wednesday.

There were 88 recoveries heading into the day, but the SHA announced another 15 to raise the total to 103.

Another 11 confirmed cases were reported as well. The overall total is 271, though 165 cases are considered active.

Of note, 26 of the cases reported overall have been health care workers, though the SHA notes the source of those infections may not be related to the work place in all instances.

Meanwhile, the south region once again has 15 reported cases. The other five regions are as follows, courtesy of the Government of Saskatchewan:

There are also now eight people hospitalized due to the virus. Two are in intensive care still, while six are now receiving inpatient care – an increase of one.

119 of the cases are now travel-related, 90 are through community contact and mass gatherings, 46 are still under investigation, while 16 have unknown sources of exposure.

The 20-44 age range now has 114 cases, 94 are in the 45-64 range, 48 are in residents 65 years of age and older, and 15 cases are in individuals 19-and-under.

A total of 15,621 tests have now been performed in the province.
