After winning the Provincial election last November, the Saskatchewan Party is gearing up for the new year.

Lyle Quinton, President of the Party's Swift Current Constituency, says there won't be as much fundraising efforts this year as there were in the past because of the aggressive fundraising leading up to last year's election.

Quinton says up to two major fundraising events could still go ahead this year.  The popular turkey fundraiser will still be held, and the annual golf tournament may be held, depending if Premier Brad Wall is able to attend.

Quinton adds that the Saskatchewan Party welcomes new members any time of the year, and says it's an excellent way to show support for the Party and give back to the community.
