In coming months there will be some changes to liquor regulations in the province.

A red tape review committee was hired to overview some alcohol regulations in Saskatchewan, and they are proposing over seventy changes.

Full Interview with Donna Harpaur"Some of those changes will allow for new entrance in the service of alcohol, so we are going to allow spas and salons to have an alcohol permit," said Donna Harpaur with the SLGA. "If you don't review legislation in an on going basis, pretty soon you have quite a back log of laws on the books that are no longer relevant to that period."

Another thing they will be offering is restaurants allowing people to bring their own wine to a restaurant, this of course being up to the business.

All liquor permits and businesses affected will be notified in advance of the changes.
