There is another major recall, spurred by the same bacteria that caused a deadly nationwide outbreak last year.

Many sliced, ready-to-eat deli meats under the Delstar and Compliments brands have been pulled because of a possible listeria contamination.  They were sold in many parts of Canada, including Saskatchewan.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the affected products have the establishment number 308, and best before dates between August 26th and October 1st.

More information is available at the CFIA's website at inspection.gc.ca.

Last summer, listeria found in foods made in a Maple Leaf plant led to a massive recall, and a listeriosis outbreak that killed 22 Canadians.
