SaskTel's TelCare program raised over $340,000 for community organizations in the province, including some local charities.

Of those funds, $6,450 will go to 13 local non-profit organizations, including the Salvation Army, Southwest Crisis Services, the Saskatchewan Abilities Council, and the local SPCA.

Some of the charities that also benefit locally are the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, KidSport, and the United Way.

Robert Watson, CEO and President of SaskTel, says the TelCare program has been around for over 55 years, and he is proud of the generosity of SaskTel employees who contribute to the program year after year.
