A 19-year-old man accused of stabbing a man in a Swift Current apartment building will face aggravated assault charges today in court.

Eugene Vincent Rider Junior was arrested after an altercation Thursday night, where a 51-year-old man received multiple stab wounds to his head, back and chest.

The victim is recovering from his injuries in hospital.

Rider has been held in custody since his arrest.
