One person is dead and another was sent to hospital after a rollover on the Trans-Canada Highway at Parkbeg late Thursday night.
The crash happened at around 11:30pm five kilometres west of Parkbeg when an SUV left the westbound lanes of the highway and rolled. An elderly man was found dead at the scene, while an elderly woman was sent to hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP have not released their names or where they're from, but did say the vehicle had Alberta plates.
Police say the roadway was frosty at the time, but the actual cause of the accident is not known.
