It's almost time for the big tent to go up and for the stalls to roll into downtown Swift Current.

It's almost time for Market Square to touch down again for the summer, seeing a whole host of different goods like fruit, vegetables, honey, baking, jarred preserves, and more. 

Addressing a need for vendors was City Councilor Pat Friesen at the last Swift Current city council meetings in the closing remarks. 

"It's coming around to one of my favourite times of the year with Market Square," said Friesen. 

If folks wish to sign up for Market Square, they are going to need to head over to their Facebook page here. 

"I just noticed today that there was that note on the Market Square Facebook page regarding the fact that it's starting on June 17, which isn't that far away now," noted Friesen. 

Market Square is set to run from June 17 to September 23, with the day-to-day being weather depending.
