The Midget AAA 57's had a 1-3 record over two double-headers this weekend.

Swift Current started off the weekend on the road against the Muenster Red Sox on Saturday.

They dropped the first game 15-12 to the Red Sox.

In the loss, Logan Fritzke hit his second homer of the season, and added five RBI to lead the charge offensively. However, he was charged with the loss on the mound, pitching four innings and giving up six earned runs.

The second contest was an 8-7 win for the Midget AAA 57's.

Reed Jacobson had the big game at the plate with the lone two RBI effort for Swift. He was one of five 57's to have a two-hit game. Nolan Klein pitched the complete game for the W.

The action shifted back to Swift Current on Sunday, as they hosted the Southeast Twins.

Nolan Klein had both of Swift's RBI in a 7-2 loss in the first game, while Brock Wall had two hits and an RBI in a 7-4 Game 2 loss.

The Midget AAA 57's now sit at 9-15 on the season, and are off until July 17 when they head to the provincial capital to take on the Regina White Sox.
