The Midget AAA 57's split a double-header on the road against the Regina Wolfpack over the weekend.

They won the opener of the two-game set 8-6.

Nolan Klein pitched a complete-game effort for Swift Current, allowing 12 hits and six runs, while striking out six.

Meanwhile at the plate, Brody Alexandre had two hits - including a triple - and a team-high two RBI, Mac Gross had three hits, and Logan Fritzke added a pair.

Game two was a shootout, with the Midget AAA 57's losing 20-15.

Leadoff man Quinn Patenaude led the way with three hits and three RBI.

Also having big games offensively were Alexandre (two hits, three RBI), Gross (three hits, one RBI), and Nic Bachiu (three hits, one RBI).

The Midget AAA 57's are on the road this evening closing out the regular season. They're in Regina taking on the Athletics with game times slated for 4:15 and 6:30 p.m.
