It was a successful weekend for the Swift Current Midget AAA Indians over the weekend in Saskatoon, at the Saskatoon Selects tournament.
The team went 2 and 0 in round robin play, defeating the Regina Athletics and the North West Pirates. They then went on to beat the Saskatoon Giants in the quarter finals, followed by a victory over Muenster in the semi's, setting up a gold medal battle with Okotoks.
The Tribe managed to defeat Okotoks, winning the tournament, behind 7 innings of pitching from Devon Schultz, and a walk-off double by BJ Moen.

The Mosquito Indians are off to the final in a Regina tournament, after picking up a 13-9 victory yesterday.
Also in Regina, competing in tournament play are the Bantam AA Indians.
They split a pair of games Saturday, defeating the Winnipeg Chiefs, before falling to the Regina Pacers, and yesterday, the Bantam AA Tribe dropped a 9-6 decision to Humboldt.
