Just one more day remains before the Mosquito 57's host the Baseball Sask Mosquito 'AA' Tier 1 Provincial tournament.

The seven-team tournament will get underway Friday morning and carry through till Sunday afternoon's gold medal game.

Swift Current has been placed in the three-team Pool B, along with the Lumsden Cubs and Lloydminster Twins.

The 57's will play the first game of the tournament against Lumsden at 10:30am Friday morning, before battling the Twins 3:30 Friday afternoon with both games being played at Sharon Hogg Field.

The opening ceremonies, which will take place at 6:00 Friday evening, will feature the unveiling of a Sharon Hogg Commemorative Plaque.

Neil Hogg, the husband of the late Sharon Hogg, will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

The tournament's gold medal game is scheduled for Sunday at 1:30pm.
