A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Saskatchewan Government, the Assemblee Communautaire Fransaskoise and several post-secondary schools yesterday to highlight the important work that has taken place over the past year regarding post-secondary French language education.

The MOU indicates that all parties are working towards a common goal of meeting the French language needs of students said Rob Norris Minister of Advanced Education.

All invloved have agreed to provide French language programs and services based on student need and interest as well as support the creation and development of post-secondary French language education.

The University of Regina, The University of Saskatchewan, SIAST and Gravelbourg's College Mathieu are some of the post-secondary schools taking part.
