The Opposition New Democrats say they are "uninspired" by the throne speech.
Opposition House Leader Kevin Yates says there was really nothing new in the speech, especially to address issues with rural health care.
Yates adds there is also no mention of any new programs to help residents affected by flooding, and they are also not pleased with a plan to require photo identification for elections, saying it will exclude those who cannot afford to get photo ID.
