More new cars are being bought in Saskatchewan.
New vehicle sales in the province jumped 33.6% in February 2010 over the same month last year. That is the third-highest increase in the country.
An 8.5% increase was posted between January and February of this year.
The province also recorded a slight increase in manufacturing shipments in February, of 0.7% year-over-year.
Shipments improved 1.9% between January and February, which was the second-highest increase in Canada.
