The Saskatchewan Party has followed through with one of their campaign promises.

As of this week, there will be no Provincial Sales Tax charged on used cars and trucks.

Finance Minister Rod Gantefoer says the credit also applies to residents who have already paid PST on a vehicle purchase earlier this month.  Anyone who has paid PST on a used vehicle since November 8th can apply for a refund.

The change is estimated to save residents $450, and will cost the government $45 million annually.
