The Saskatchewan Party continued on with their recent string of announcements yesterday.

One thousand new electrified campsites, $20 million to Saskatchewan's provincial and regional parks, and the elimination of campfire fees, was committed yesterday by the Leader of the Saskatchewan Party, Brad Wall, should his party form government in the next election.

This announcement carries on from earlier this week, when Wall pledged to double the province's tourism budget, from $8 million to $16 million per year.

Wall says that the costs associated with disposing of campfire fees would be partially recouped through other methods, including increasing camping fees by $2.00 for out-of-province visitors.

He adds that this spending would be spread out over the next four years.
