Travis-Moen

It's a chance to see NHL players and help some local community charities.

The Travis Moen-Zack Smith Swift Current Indians Charity Golf Tournament takes place tomorrow at the Elmwood Golf Club, starting at 1 o'clock.

"Since tournament not only supports the Indians ball club, but first and foremost, is that we're supporting five kids youth programs in town: Boys and Girls On the Move, Outdoor Hockey, Family Golf and the Southwest Youth Emergency Shelter," said Brad Woods, an organizer for the tournament.

Woods says thirty-two teams have registered so far, and they're still looking to add a couple teams.

"Teams of five. Entry fees are $150 for non-members, $100 for members. We got good participant prizes for everyone involved, prize opportunities on every hole, and a great meal by the chef there at Elmwood. So, you get to come out and see some NHLers- Zack Smith and Travis Moen,  and get to support some good causes," said Woods.
