We are just 23 days away from Swift Current hosting Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada, and preparations for the festival are kicking into high gear.

Volunteers are still needed for many of the events, including the outdoor festival at Riverdene Park on February 9 in areas that include hospitality, parking and the family activation games. Safe Places - Youth Certification is highly preferred for many of the volunteer positions, and thanks to Scotiabank, those looking to get the certification can receive the training free of charge until February 1.

Brad Woods with the Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada committee joined Colin on the Magic Morning Show to give us more details.

More information about volunteering and tickets for the many events scheduled for the week of February 6-9 can be found on the City's website.
