The Provincial Government is saying the tax cuts they introduced in 2008 are more effective than they first predicted.

At that time, the Ministry of Finance estimated that 80,000 people in Saskatchewan would not have to pay provincial income tax. But now, new information shows that 92,240 people were taken off the tax rolls by that tax reduction.

Finance Minister Ken Krawetz says more people in Saskatchewan are working and earning more than ever before, and thanks to the tax cuts, they are keeping more of the money they earn.
