The Swift Current RCMP arrested two suspects last night after they were observed attempting to enter a parked vehicle on the 100 block of 2nd Avenue Northwest in Swift Current.

Following the arrest, a number of items were seized from the suspects by the RCMP. The Swift Current City RCMP believe the items were stolen from vehicles parked in the downtown core & Northwest neighbourhood of the City.

The investigation is currently ongoing and the RCMP are asking the public to check the contents of their vehicles and report any stolen or missing property. Identifying victims and involved vehicles will determine what criminal charges can be laid.

The identities of the two male suspects will not be released at this time.

They have both been released from custody and will appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on June 7th.
