RCMP Called to Attempted Robbery at Wheatland Mall

Swift Current RCMP were called to an attempted armed robbery at the Wheatland Mall Monday afternoon.

Police say a man in his early 30s entered a business at the mall between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, and produced a weapon attempting to rob the business. He then fled the scene without any cash or merchandise. No one was injured.

The man is described as a Caucasian with a medium build and a goatee wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans, and dark sunglasses.
